Original Jesuit Reports on Sonsong Feb 1, 1686

Fr. Lorenzo Bustillo, SJ, one of the original companions of Sonsong in Fr. Diego Sanvitores' mission to Guam, wrote this eyewitness account of Sonsong's martyrdom within days after Sonsong's burial on Jan 12, 1686. According to Jesuit historian Fr. John N. Schumacher, SJ, this document is "the most extensive contemporary account of the life of any Filipino before the 19th century."
